LGBTQ+ Harm Reduction Kit Making

#HeartBeatsHate

Pieces to Pathways hosts open community events on a monthly basis. Please join us on Friday, September 27th to make harm reduction kits, hormone kits, queer sexual health kits and party packs together. This is an open event for regular participants of our programs as well as those who want to get involved.

Come learn more about harm reduction!
Snacks, refreshments and tokens will be provided.

We are located at 21 Strickland ave, just north of Queen and Dufferin. The first floor of the building is accessible. We have gender neutral washrooms and one private wheelchair accessible washroom.

If you have any questions, check out our frequently asked questions (FAQ) below or feel free to call/text us at (647) 209-2043

1) What is kit making?
It is a gathering where we build harm reduction kits (i.e. safer smoking kits, safer party kits, queer sexual health kits). We will provide all of the supplies and show you how to make them

2) Is it ok if I'm late?
It's drop-in style, so just come by (and head out) when it's convenient for you!

3) I have triggers with certain paraphernalia, is there a way to avoid it?
Yes! Please message us beforehand if you have certain concerns, so we can accommodate you. We are planning to have two harm reduction stations- one will have sexual health & safer party supplies, and the other room will have safer injection & smoking supplies.

4) How do I get there?
From Queen and Dufferin
Head west on Queen St and take the first right onto Noble Street
Walk north on Noble street (the road will curve)
Take the next right onto Strickland
You will see a big grey building, that's us!

5) What if I'm older than 29?
Although our programs serve queer and trans folks between the ages of 16-29, our community events are open for any folks (LGBTQ allies too) who want to volunteer, participate or get involved.
