March For Our Lives Des Moines

One year after the tragic shooting in Parkland, Florida, and amid the continuing epidemic of gun violence, we will march for our lives on Sunday, March 24th at the Iowa State Capitol. In the year since the Parkland shooting, there has been nearly one mass shooting every single day. We have to continue to speak out for common sense gun laws that will keep us safe!

Sunday, March 24 1pm

Progress Iowa is proud to work alongside Interfaith Alliance of Iowa, March For Our Lives Iowa, and an outstanding group of student leaders to plan this year’s march:

Kyle Kopf – University of Iowa ‘22
Andrew Dunn – Simpson College ‘21
Lucy Karlin – University of Iowa ‘22
Tristin Delaney – Indian Hills
Anna Van Heukelom – University of Iowa 2022
Isabella O’Connor – Roosevelt 2019
Olivia Boulting – Van Meter 2020
Melissa Zapata- Des Moines University 2021
